Building A Bridge

  We had to build a toy bridge. We had to build it for our final grade in math class. We are working in a group of 5. We are working with people in our math class we also got picked random. The bridge needs to have three things to past as a good bridge. The first one is it has to be light weight, the second is it can hold weight on top of it. The last one is it has to be "30" inch long. One good thing is that we can use any thing on the list of materials that Mr.C gave us. We can also use other things that Mr.C says we can use, but the coast is to much. The list only has 8 things that we can use. 

The first is toothpicks that coast 1,500, spaghetti that coast 3,000, popsicle sticks 7,500, hot glue gun that coast 2000,00o. We also had Elmer's glue that coast 60,000, tape that coast 750,000, string yarn that coast 5,000 per yard, the last thing is pipe cleaner that coast 10.000. We only got 1.5m. We had to waste ever thing and we could not go over the budget. If we did go over we would get a 1. 

We only bought 172 popsicle sticks. We also bought a glue gun, and 1 pipe cleaner. We first multiple ever thing we have more of, the only thing was the popsicle sticks. then what we got we subtracted what we got. Then we subtracted it from the total coast of the glue gun. We just has money to buy one more pipe cleaner. 

The way my group chose our bridge were in two ways. The first thing we did was we each draw a bridge the way we wanted it to look like. Then the way we choose it was that we looked at who had the best sketch and the best one would be the winner and we would do that bridge. The reason we choose our bridge was that the sketch had a lot of detail of the way it was going to be. It also look like it could hold a lot of weight on it and it could win for our group. The type of bridge we did was a Trust bridge. We are building it because this bridges are meant to hold weight, so we thought it would hold up the weight we are going to put on it. 

The way we fond our bridge was we saw it in class and we wanted to do it, but in a different way. Then we also saw it in the web. We had to draw it and show how it would hold the weight. It also has to show the force of the weight.We bought popsicle sticks because it is the strongest thing he had. We just bought the pipe cleaner to waste all the $. In our group we all doing the same thing. We all gluing the bridge together. We are sharing the project. This is what we are doing in math class   

Restrictions on life How to deal?

The restriction that they have to live by were bad for them. It's bad because they couldn't do many things while there were people down stares or they could be cought. They can't go to the bathroom or take a shower. they can't move from place to place from 8 am to 6 pm. They can't move ordo any of this things from this hours because anything they do can be hard down stares form the work room to the office room. If they have trash they have to burn it when ever body is gone so it would not seem like some one is living there. The only thing good about the attic is after ever one is gone they can eat like a big family and do other fun stuff.

The only restriction that i have to live by is that i also have to throw away ever two days. I don't like it, but at  

 lest i can have fun the other days i don't have to do that.

I would be mad and scraed if i had to go into hiding. If i had to stay one one place from 8am to 6am i go crazy because i am one of the person that has to move around ever 5 mins or so. I would be said because i would not see my other family members or any of my friends and i could not play outside like i also do. I would be mad because i would stop going ti my dad's work that i really really like. The only one good thing that i would be with my dad, mom. and my two brothers and one good friend of the family. So at first it mite be bad, but at least i will be with my family. 

Anne Frank: Stage Adaptation

A stage adaptation is were a author turns a book in to a play. So that it can be acted out. Some things it has to make acting easy is that it has people telling other people what to do. It also has more thing that a ply needs so it can be a good one so people would like it.

        The plays starts on 1945 for many reasons. The first one is that it is the end of war war II. The Mr.Frank goes up to the attic were his family was hiding form the Germans. He goes up to say good bye because he is living the town. The last reason is that Mr.Frank is in the attic one of his friends Miep finds on the floor a diary and the diary belongs to his daughter Anne Frank. So that's why it starts on the year 1945.
The first scene starts by the author telling us that the attic they were in. It tells us that the attic windows have black curtains so no one can see in our out. It has three rooms the biggest one is the center one and it has two one each of the sides. he is on the top floor of his own buienss and all the stuff is overturned and also has little stuff. the Mr.FRANK comes up and he starts to walk around the room and not cry. Then after he finds a white glove he starts to cry because it reminds him of his wife. Then Miep comes up looking for Mr.FRANK he finds him crying. then MR.FRANK tells Miep that he is moving away because their is to many members of his family her that dead.Then Miep finds Anne frank (MR.FRANK'S daughter) diary and then he starts to read it. Then when he is reading Anne's voice comes in read to.It ends by and frank reading by herself.      

  

What is DRAMA ?

People assume drama is a lot of stuff, but most think it is fighting. People think drama is people get in a fight over big things. Most people think that drama is people that mad at each other. DRAMA is  a play because it has all the thing that a play has. Like a script, set, costumes, actors, dialogue, lights and historical context. This are all in drama so they could make up a good play so people can know what can of drama they are acting out.                            They have script so people can know what they have to say so they can creart drama. They have sets and costumes to let people now the backward of the play. They have actors and dialogue to make more drama between the people. They have light to to pop out the drama they are acting out. That is DRAMA for you.
